Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best recognized for her roles was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in acting at the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer, who has been actively involved in theater, film, and on television. She started acting on stage and then appeared in independent, mainstream as well as television shows. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico, and also appeared on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she was praised by critics and received a variety of nominations and awards including an award from the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. She made her professional acting debut with the character Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her stage credits include The Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her roles in the films Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. In television, her role in ABC's police drama High Incident is well known.
