Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex on One Tree Hill's final three years. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were featured on One Tree Hill's episodes and helped to push her debut album in 2012 to Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. Her decade ended by appearing on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music and would eventually pursue a recording career but she made her debut acting as an actress, appearing on screen on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teens. In the past she was on numerous series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' second season (2007-2008). Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the final season of the show in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time in One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't give up in a 2011 One Tree Hill episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut complete album Jana Kramer. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. In October of 2015, Kramer released Thirty One from Warner Music Nashville. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country albums chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016 the singer was a part of two weeks participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary by singing the track Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
