Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania) She is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was an infant, started her second grade education at the age of five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe and spent a full year with her aunt in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone was disillusioned with the model world that was thriving in Europe began acting while living in Europe. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," a film that received mixed receptions.
